SPLODGE IN SCHOOLS

The Splodge Creative Arts Workshops are designed for children from 5-11 years. We encourage multi-sensory learning with our Splodge Staff skilled in dance, drama, music, art, craft and story telling.

Using these creative vehicles simultaneously the children are inspired to experience, experiment and explore key issues.

At Splodge we aim to work with teachers and co-ordinators to:-

  • stimulate imagination
  • inspire and develop self confidence
  • encourage team work and social awareness
  • develop a respect for our natural environment
  • ignite a passion for life and learning

The Splodge crew consists of a pool of professionals with degrees, diplomas and specialised arts qualifications. Together the team of Creatives devise and implement fresh innovative material tailor-made to the space and environment within which they are working.

Using professional actors whose skills in improvisation, storytelling and comic theatre are second to none; musicians trained in classical to world and dance therapists from ballet to street, the Splodga staff continue to inspire our children.

“I recommend Splodge often for their ability to run very diverse, fun
events for children. They are a bright and gifted crew, I am delighted to watch their continued success as an extra-special children's company”
Leigh Terrafranca Nursery Manager,

Barnaby Bright School, Battersea Zoo
, London

“Both students and staff have made numerous and very approving comments about the session. They very much enjoyed the mix of drama and music and gained a great deal from it. Comments such as 'superb' and 'brilliant' were expressed. It fitted so well into the term's theme and reinforced and extended their understanding”
Ian Ayre Deputy Head, Addington School, Reading.
Special Needs Animal Workshop

“The children and their teachers had gathered, and the atmosphere was electric! The members of SPLODGE took us into another world full of wild beasts and strange fauna. One minute the children were elephants trumpeting enthusiastically, the next they were snakes hissing and crawling through obstacles. The children's joy was contagious their obvious keenness overwhelming”
Ann-Marie Borg-Landau, Concordia Foundation.
