In order to concentrate on a text properly all redundant stuff has to be removed. In Markers, you go to the website which is the basis of your research and the build in text recognition removes all the navigation bars, ads and so on. The plain text of the website is saved as a document and will be available offline everywhere. Consequently, all your sources are also accessible if you‘re not connected to the Internet. Moreover you will not be distracted by annoying advertisements, you can change the font style and size according to your preferences and fully concentrate on your task. Now you‘re ready to find the essential information.
Text highlighting has never been easier
In Markers, text highlighting is simpler than ever. Everyone knows the convenience of text markers: You take off the cap, put the marker on the paper and highlight the important passage brightly and unmistakably. Up to now, this wasn‘t possible on a computer and iPad. With Markers, it is.
You don‘t have to worry about anything. There are six different colors: Choose one and slide your finger over the text you want to highlight. No more unhandy positioning of grab points and no additional command to highlight the passage.
If you have to change a marking, you can: Simply touch the beginning or the end of your marking and highlight the adjoining words. But what if the color‘s wrong? Don‘t worry, the app has a solution for you: Just tap on the marking and change the color. This didn‘t work on paper!
List View collects your markings - with only one tap
After having highlighted and sorted the important information by color you want to have it clearly arranged. No Problem, the app will do that for you. Activate list view and you‘re done. The highlightings of all your documents are sorted by color and displayed in a compact overview. What else do you want?
Add notes to your markings
Of course you do want more! Already in text view, you can add notes to your individual marked passages. Those will be displayed under the respective excerpt in list view, so everything‘s right there.
Project and document administration
Markers offers you a straight and logical administration of all your documents. If you are working on a certain topic, you create a new project and save all the relevant documents there.
Export as PDF
As soon as you have collected all the information you can export everything as a PDF file. If you want the overview of all your markings and notes, switch to list view. Otherwise choose a document and send the whole text with all the markings as a PDF file via E-Mail oder send it to iTunes.
